Profile
Wu graduated from Peking University Law School. He serves as a Member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, Deputy Director of the Copyright Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, Director of the Copyright Committee of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, Director of the Long An Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Research Center, Director of the Trade Secrets Committee of the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Research Association, and Consulting Expert for Civil and Administrative Cases of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate. He is also an arbitrator with the Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Zhuhai arbitration commissions, an External Mentor at the School of Law of South China University of Technology, and an Adjunct Professor at the School of Law of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
Wu has more than fifteen years of legal practice, with extensive litigation experience and a strong foundation in legal analysis. He leads the development of integrated strategies for complex matters. His team has handled thousands of disputes involving copyright, trademarks, unfair competition, patents, trade secrets, computer software, integrated-circuit layout designs, domain names, and technology contracts. The team has also handled hundreds of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters involving construction, real estate, corporate equity, and finance, together with due diligence, internet product compliance, data compliance, and overseas expansion projects.
Wu leads the YanShang Legal Team, whose service philosophy is “professional depth and service with care.” Matters handled by the team have been selected 74 times as representative cases by the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, provincial high courts including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hainan, and Qinghai, specialist intellectual property courts, and industry organizations. The team’s civil, commercial, arbitration, and intellectual property matters have received 24 Business Achievement Awards from lawyers associations, and its research papers have received four Top Ten Paper or First Prize awards.
