Recently, the Guangzhou Taxpayers Association’s 10th-Anniversary Celebration and General Meeting was held at the Chimelong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou. The meeting elected the new leadership for the association’s Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors, and officially launched the “Taxation + Integration” 2.0 Strategy, marking a new journey in serving the high-quality development of the real economy in the Greater Bay Area. The conference was attended by over 300 elites and member representatives from political, business, and academic sectors, including Sun Ruibiao, President of the China International Tax Research Association; Lin Jinghua, Vice President of the Association; Yang Weiwen, former Party Secretary and Director of the Guangzhou State Taxation Bureau; Jie Ye, former Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration; Wang Yiping, Inspector Grade I and President of the Guangdong Certified Tax Agents Association; Huang Zhiming, Member of the CPC Committee and Chief Accountant of the Guangzhou Tax Service, State Taxation Administration; and Yu Jianchun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Sun Ruibiao, President of the China International Tax Research Association and former Member of the CPC Committee and Deputy Director of the State Taxation Administration, highly praised the association’s decade-long efforts in tax-enterprise co-governance. He emphasized its achievements in building communication bridges, promoting tax compliance, optimizing the business environment, and facilitating Greater Bay Area development. He urged the association to continue driving political leadership, tax-corporate synergy, and high-quality services to support taxpayers and boost regional development.

Huang Zhiming, Chief Accountant of the Guangzhou Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, congratulated the new leadership. He recognized the association’s long-term tax law publicity, policy interpretation, and tax consulting services, which have streamlined communication channels and addressed corporate pain points. He encouraged the new board to continue acting as a bridge between the government and businesses to optimize Guangzhou’s tax business environment.

The newly elected president, Zhai Meiqing, reflected on the association’s ten-year journey. She stated that the association remains committed to integrity, compliance, and national service, helping market entities adhere to compliance lines. Looking forward, the association aims to build highly efficient platforms, empower enterprises with precision services, and foster a culture of integrity and compliance in the Greater Bay Area.

During the general meeting, Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm was elected as a Council Member of the Third Board of Directors of the Guangzhou Taxpayers Association and was awarded the honorary title of “Partner of the Decade: Outstanding Commitment Enterprise.”

Mr. Hao Hao, Senior Partner of Longan Guangzhou and Deputy Director of the Longan Bay Area Law-Finance-Taxation Integration Research Center, was appointed as an “Academic and Professional” Think Tank Expert for the association’s innovative think tank, and received the honorary title of “Partner of the Decade: Service Model Pioneer.”

At the event’s service section, the Longan Bay Area Law-Finance-Taxation Integration Research Center was invited as the exclusive legal service provider. Senior Partner Mr. Hao Hao, Senior Consultant and Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Zhang Bo (full-time attorney, CPA, and Certified Tax Agent at Longan Foshan), and Attorney Ms. Ma Xiaoyu from Longan Guangzhou served as consultants at the tax-and-law consultation desk, attracting inquiries from various corporate representatives, CFOs, and in-house legal counsel.

Drawing on the latest tax regulations and judicial practices, the three lawyers addressed client concerns on tax compliance, tax audit response, and criminal risk prevention. Their professional guidance demonstrated the Center’s capabilities in law-finance-tax integration, earning recognition from participating enterprises.
