Recently, a training course on case analysis of legal planning for wealth management and inheritance by Gaokou Wealth of CGB was held at CGB Guangzhou Branch. Lawyer Hao Hao, a senior partner at Longan Guangzhou and deputy director of the Longan Bay Law, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, and Lawyer Li Dingbang, deputy director of the Marriage, Family Affairs, and Wealth Management Department at Longan Guangzhou, were invited to serve as trainers.
Lawyer Li Dingbang shared his insights under the topic “Legal Planning and Cases of Wealth Management and Inheritance under the New Situation”. Lawyer Li set up vivid scenario simulations, and participants in the class engaged in thinking and interaction. He introduced the current new trends in wealth management and inheritance, and analyzed several issues in current wealth management from a legal practice perspective, including the rules of equity holding and the regulation of the responsibilities of directors, supervisors, and senior management. Based on recent social hot cases such as the “Hangzhou Zong family” case, Lawyer Li started from the current situation and inheritance challenges of entrepreneurs, and clarified related misunderstandings through typical crisis cases, analyzing the frequent legal risks faced by entrepreneurs.
Then, focusing on the actual effectiveness of inheritance tools such as wills and trusts, combined with legal regulations and personal practical experience, Lawyer Li shared how to comprehensively use trust tools and corporate structure design to achieve safer and more efficient family inheritance.
Lawyer Hao Hao shared his insights under the topic “Wealth Management and Inheritance: A Criminal Risk Management Perspective”. Lawyer Hao started with the types of crimes frequently committed by entrepreneurs. Using cases handled by his team, typical judicial precedents, and statistical data on criminal risks of entrepreneurs in recent years, he systematically sorted out and interpreted the criminal risk scenarios and common charges that are likely to occur during the operation of private enterprises. Then, by comparing the handling of cases by “public security, procurature, and judicial organs” and “councils and commissions”, Lawyer Hao showed the huge impact of criminal risks on wealth security through vivid cases.
Finally, focusing on the high-incidence area of crimes that harm tax collection and management, Lawyer Hao analyzed in depth the structural system and risk management key points of tax-related crimes with Chinese characteristics. He pointed out how parties can effectively manage risks through professional services at different stages such as tax collection and management, tax inspection, public security investigation, and criminal proceedings.
During this training, lawyers from Longan Guangzhou systematically sorted out the key legal issues and tax risks faced by the Gaokou group in the process of wealth management and inheritance. Through real cases, participants’ risk prevention awareness in actual operations was enhanced, and their practical operation abilities were improved, receiving wide praise.

Lawyer Hao Hao graduated from Sun Yat-sen University. He is currently a senior partner at Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing, deputy director of the Longan Bay Law, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, an expert in evaluating tender documents for information technology projects of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone Office of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, an expert of the Guangzhou Taxpayer Association’s innovative think tank, an expert in legal publicity at the Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Federation, the founder and leader of the Dishi Law Team, and holds the qualification of board secretary of a listed company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Lawyer Hao has worked in public security policy research and economic investigation departments for 10 years. He is familiar with the operating mechanisms of relevant departments and has rich experience in political and legal work, judicial practice, and handling of commercial criminal cases. Lawyer Li Dingbang is deputy director of the Marriage, Family Affairs, and Wealth Management Department at Longan Guangzhou, deputy director and secretary-general of the Longan Bay Law, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, a member of the Legislative Advisory Committee of the Hainan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee, an off-campus tutor at the Law School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, a member of the Research Team on Foundation and Charitable Trusts of the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, deputy secretary-general of the Liwan Popular Music Association in Guangzhou, a permanent director of the Guangzhou Public Welfare Financial Innovation and Development Center, and a member of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Will Repository. He graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a master’s degree in civil and commercial law. He participated in the formulation of the general provisions and guarantee system judicial interpretations of the Civil Code, and also studied at Columbia University Law School. He has received many awards at national and provincial civil and commercial law doctoral forum and Hubei Civil Law Research Association. He has published more than ten papers on law and united front work in academic and practical journals such as “Tsinghua Legal Review”, “Guangdong Lawyer”, and “Insurance Theory and Practice”.
