LONGAN

On June 16th, after various procedures such as submission, review, selection, and deliberation, the official website of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association officially announced the list of members of the working institutions of the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center, as well as the list of members of the working institutions of the Guangzhou International Commercial Law Service Center. Ren Chao, a senior partner from Longan Guangzhou, was selected as a member of the litigation department of the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center. Ou Yingshi, a partner from Longan Guangzhou, along with Liang Xinyuan, Li Min, and Yang Lun, were successfully selected as members of the working institutions of the Guangzhou International Commercial Law Service Center.

The successful selection of five lawyers from Longan Guangzhou as members of the working institutions of the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center and the Guangzhou International Commercial Law Service Center is not only an authoritative recognition of their professional capabilities, but also provides them with a higher-level platform for participating in international commercial legal services in the future. In the future, Longan Guangzhou will actively participate in the center’s work, continuously improve its practical experience in cross-border investment and trade compliance, and further strengthen its legal services for foreign-related matters, providing better legal protection for enterprises to go global.

Profile of the Lawyers

Lawyer Ren Chao

After graduating from undergraduate studies, Lawyer Ren Chao studied in Canada and obtained a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of British Columbia. He is currently a senior partner from Longan Guangzhou, the director of the Longan Bay Area Enforcement Law Research Center, a member of the China Law Society, a lawyer included in the Guangdong Foreign-related Lawyers Talent Pool, a member of the first council of the China Medical Equipment Intellectual Property Alliance, and the deputy secretary-general of the Guangzhou Law and Business Environment Research Institute. He also won the third prize in the third national finals of the China E-commerce Lecturer Competition. Lawyer Ren Chao passed the bar exam in 2008 and worked for many years at Sinopec CNOB Ship Fuel Supply Co., Ltd., where he served as the head of the business risk department.

Since starting his legal career, Lawyer Ren has focused on legal matters related to enforcement, corporate law, and economic criminal cases. He has represented many enforcement cases, and has extensive experience in identifying assets of defendants and filing charges for refusal to comply with legal obligations. He has also successfully represented several criminal cases related to intellectual property, contract fraud, gambling operations, prostitution organization, and illegal fundraising. Lawyer Ou Yingshi

Lawyer Ou Yingshi holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and a master’s degree in law from City University of Hong Kong and Paris 1 University in France. She is currently a partner from Longan Guangzhou and the director of the Longan Guangzhou Sanctions and Double Anti Committee. She has a solid legal background in foreign-related matters. Lawyer Ou has provided legal services for many large enterprises, especially automotive companies, in areas such as foreign investment, export controls and sanctions, international arbitration, foreign-related litigation, and permanent legal advice. Lawyer Liang Xinyuan

Lawyer Liang Xinyuan has a level 8 in English and is the deputy director of the Longan Bay Area ASEAN Law Research Center. Lawyer Liang graduated from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies with a degree in International Economic Law. She is a leading foreign-related lawyer in Guangdong Province, a member of the first batch of Guangzhou foreign-related lawyer leaders, a member of the Guangdong Province Cross-border Dispute Resolution Law Committee, a mediator from the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center, and a senior legal advisor from Ricky Tan & Co. in Malaysia.

Lawyer Liang specializes in resolving complex civil and commercial disputes. She has extensive experience in financial investment, contract trade, and intellectual property, as well as a high level of legal theory and skilled handling of cases. Lawyer Li Min

Lawyer Li Min holds a master’s degree in law from Ohio State University. Lawyer Yang Lun

Lawyer Yang Lun is a lawyer from Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing. She graduated from Sun Yat-sen University Law School and Vanderbilt University Law School in the United States, obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law, respectively.
