Among them, Lawyer Ou Yingshi from Beijing LongAn (Guangzhou) Law Firm gave a presentation titled “Breaking Through and Progressing: How Foreign-related Lawyers Can Embrace New Legal Fields”.

With the acceleration of Chinese enterprises’ “going global” process, the demand for cross-border investment, international trade, and international dispute resolution is increasing continuously. Chinese lawyers are facing an unprecedented opportunity for global development. Lawyer Nan Yixu, a partner at UAE Vinson Law Firm and the director of Beijing Vinson Law Firm, shared his insights on the strategic location value and legal environment in the Middle East, based on his experience in providing legal services for Chinese enterprises in the UAE. Lawyer Nan pointed out that if Chinese enterprises fail to conduct proper due diligence and have a lack of compliance management systems during their operations in those regions, they may face major operational risks, such as inability to operate due to non-compliant registration procedures or缺席 judgments and huge compensation responsibilities.

Next, Monica Sánchez, a lawyer and business manager at Act Legal in Spain, gave a presentation on “Spanish Investment Opportunities and Legal Advantages”. She said that Spain has strategic advantages in connecting international markets due to its favorable geographical location, and it is an important gateway for Chinese enterprises to enter the EU, North Africa, Middle East, and Latin American markets.

Starting from his experience in handling many cross-border dispute resolution cases, he explained in detail how foreign lawyers can cooperate effectively with each other to provide high-quality services to clients during cross-border litigation.

Mr. Xu Jingfu, the first Asian chairman of the Eurasian branch of the Madrid Lawyers Association, shared his views on “Cooperation Mechanisms and Business Growth Points between Chinese and European Lawyers”. He pointed out that the role of “leading lawyers” is important in cross-border business operations. Chinese lawyers can actively assume the role of leading lawyers, comprehensively manage foreign-related projects, ensure service quality, and ensure efficient and smooth cooperation.

Mr. Zhang Chao, the founder of ChaoLvZhi, discussed in depth the development opportunities and transformation challenges in foreign-related legal services. Mr. Zhang encouraged lawyers to accurately understand the development trends of foreign-related services, have confidence in transformation, and prepare in advance. Foreign-related legal services are not only a promising market for the legal profession but also carry the important mission of serving national strategies and enhancing China’s legal soft power. There is broad room for development and great potential.

Together with foreign lawyers, they can provide high-quality foreign-related legal services to clients.
