To support campus safety and raise fraud awareness among minors, Mr. Chen Guan, an attorney from Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm, was recently invited by the Guangzhou Baiyun District Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Guangzhou Baiyun District Education Bureau to participate in the 2025–2026 “Rule of Law Journey for Children” Public Welfare Legal Campaign. As part of this initiative, Mr. Chen visited Guangzhou No. 65 Middle School to deliver a practical legal lecture on anti-fraud awareness for students and teachers.

Utilizing his legal knowledge and practice experience, Mr. Chen structured the session around case studies, risk explanations, and practical advice. He explained the methods, common scripts, and identifiers of different telecommunication fraud schemes, guiding students on how to identify suspicious behavior, take immediate loss-prevention measures, preserve evidence, and seek legal help.

Addressing the internet, consumption, and social media habits of adolescents, Mr. Chen encouraged students to build balanced online habits. He reminded them to remain cautious of online temptations, protect personal privacy and financial details, and observe appropriate behavior online to maintain safety and comply with relevant regulations.

Longan Guangzhou regularly participates in public interest legal work, prioritizing minor protection and community legal education. The firm routinely conducts campus legal lectures, youth safety training, and public welfare legal services to make professional resources accessible to communities. Moving forward, Longan Guangzhou will continue to organize educational legal programs to support campus safety and contribute to community legal awareness.
