Recently, Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm hosted delegations from the School of Politics and Law of Zhaoqing University and the College of Foreign Studies of South China Agricultural University (SCAU). Discussions focused on foreign-related legal talent cultivation, joint internship bases, collaborative practical teaching, and student career development. These exchanges aim to bridge legal education with practice, provide diverse training opportunities for students, and establish partnerships between the firm and academia.
Representatives from Longan Guangzhou actively participated in the meetings, including Mr. Chen Banliang, Senior Partner and Director of the Longan Bay Area Law-Finance-Taxation Integration Research Center; Mr. Hao Hao, Senior Partner and Deputy Director of the Center; Mr. Li Dingbang, Deputy Head of the Marriage, Family, and Wealth Management Department and Deputy Director of the Center; Mr. Zhang Bo, Full-time Attorney, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Tax Agent at Longan Foshan; Mr. Ye Junxi, Senior Partner and member of Guangzhou’s Leading Foreign-Related Legal Talent; and Mr. Gao Mingguang, Expert Consultant for Longan Guangzhou’s Public Welfare Committee.
School of Politics and Law, Zhaoqing University: Exploring Foreign-Related Legal Talent Cultivation
On the morning of June 11, 2026, a delegation from Zhaoqing University visited Longan Guangzhou, including Dean Xu Ying, Professor He Ronghua, Assistant Dean and Head of the Law Department Han Rong, Academic Secretary Zhong Chuyi, and Lecturer Yao Junzhi. The parties discussed the establishment of joint foreign-related legal training bases, practical teaching, curriculum development, and collaborative education models.


Dean Xu Ying shared her school’s progress in legal education, discipline development, and student cultivation, expressing a strong interest in leveraging the firm’s practical resources to build high-quality learning platforms for students.

The firm’s Dishi Team shared their experience in foreign-related legal services, practical teaching, and student internships. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on establishing internship bases and inviting senior lawyers to serve as external practice mentors.

On the morning of June 12, 2026, a delegation from SCAU’s College of Foreign Studies visited Longan Guangzhou. The delegation included Executive Dean Professor Deng Fei, Deputy Party Secretary Yang Yujiao, Vice Dean Li Feiwu, Head of the English Department Yang Min, Deputy Head of the Japanese Department Guo Shenglin, and Student Counselor Chen Manyu. Discussions centered around joint cultivation of foreign-related legal talents, teaching collaboration, and internship base development.

Representatives from the SCAU College of Foreign Studies pointed out that with the increasing demand for foreign-related legal services, training interdisciplinary professionals with foreign language proficiency and basic legal knowledge is a priority for the college. Drawing on their experience in international practice, the Dishi Team offered suggestions on career transition paths, curriculum design, internships, and job opportunities for foreign language students.

During the meeting, Mr. Li Dingbang was officially appointed as an “Industry Mentor” for the SCAU College of Foreign Studies. In this role, he will participate in teaching activities, specialized lectures, and career guidance for students.

This series of exchanges underscores Longan Guangzhou’s commitment to integration between industry and education.
