Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm is pleased to announce that attorneys Chen She, Deng Shiyun, and Li Mingjin (in alphabetical order by surname) have officially joined the firm as partners. Their arrival will bring new energy to the firm’s key practice areas, including investment and financing, criminal defense, and civil and commercial dispute resolution, further enhancing our comprehensive legal services.
Partner Chen She

Mr. Chen She, a graduate of Tsinghua University Law School, is a partner at Longan Guangzhou. He also serves as a practical instructor for the Master of Laws program at South China University of Technology, a mentor at the China Science Maker Academy (affiliated with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences), and a director of the Haizhu Football Association in Guangzhou.
Mr. Chen focuses on corporate investment and financing, capital markets, corporate affairs, and civil and commercial dispute resolution. In 2025, his legislative proposal was incorporated into Article 7 of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China, earning him recognition from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. He has provided specialized legal services for the IPO of Weida Photoelectric, multiple National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ/New Third Board) listings, and investment acquisitions for various large enterprises and equity funds. Representative clients include Tsinghua University, Shenzhen University of Technology, Guangdong Provincial Communication Group, and several funds under Guangdong Finance Investment Holding (Yuecai Holding).

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Chen is an active football player. He previously served as the captain of the football teams at Zhong Lun (Guangzhou) Law Firm and Yingke (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He has achieved notable results, including winning the 2024 Yingke National Football Championship, securing second place in the football tournament at the 11th Guangzhou Lawyers Sports Games in 2025, and runner-up in the 4th Guangzhou Lawyers Football Super League in 2024.

Partner Deng Shiyun

Licensed in 2009, Mr. Deng Shiyun has long focused on cybercrime, economic crime criminal defense, and criminal crisis management. He specializes in the payment and settlement sector, particularly handling criminal cases related to fourth-party payments, cross-border exchange, and cryptocurrency payment channels. His practice covers crimes such as assisting information network criminal activities, concealing or disguising criminal proceeds, illegal business operations involving payment and settlement, and money laundering, as well as major complex criminal cases involving occupational embezzlement and fraud.
Throughout his career, Mr. Deng has accumulated extensive cross-regional experience in assisting individuals stranded abroad to return and surrender, criminal crisis response, 37-day golden defense during investigation stages, and second-instance appeals. Several of his complex cases have been featured in professional publications such as Criminal Defense Practice: Selected Cases of Guangzhou Lawyers, Economic Crimes: Defense Techniques and Examples, and Research on Defense Practice in Economic Crimes.
Prior to joining Longan Guangzhou, Mr. Deng worked for a major domestic comprehensive law firm, where he led the establishment of the cybercrime defense department. He was selected among the first batch of lawyers for the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s Criminal Defense Lawyer Pool. He has served as a member of several committees of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, including the Criminal Procedure Committee, the Economic Crime Criminal Law Committee, and the Lawyers’ Rights Protection Committee, and currently serves on the Internet Finance Law Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association. Over his years of practice, he has received numerous industry accolades, including the 2010 Practice Achievement Award from the Guangzhou Lawyers Association and the Outstanding Committee Member Award for 2017 and 2020.
Partner Li Mingjin

Mr. Li Mingjin graduated from the School of Law and Humanities of University of South China in 2009. He previously worked as in-house counsel for several listed companies, including Kaixin001, CNTV, 39.net, and Lifesense, accumulating extensive corporate in-house experience.
Since starting his private practice in 2021, Mr. Li has handled over 300 cases, focusing on criminal defense and civil and commercial dispute resolution. In the criminal field, he has successfully obtained multiple probations and bail grants. In civil and commercial matters, he advises on corporate compliance, commercial contract disputes, labor disputes, and medical malpractice, with a strong understanding of internal corporate risk management and dispute resolution. He is particularly skilled in dealing with complex and overlapping multi-disciplinary disputes.
