Lawyer Ren Chao
Lawyer Ren Chao obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of British Columbia in Canada. In 2008, he passed the bar exam and worked for many years at Sinopec Zhonghai Ship Fuel Supply Co., Ltd., where he served as the head of the Business Risk Department. Later, he started his own business and established companies in China, the United States, and Canada, focusing on cross-border e-commerce. In 2016, he joined Guangdong Geshi Law Firm, and now he is a partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm.
Since starting his legal career, Lawyer Ren Chao has focused on legal matters related to economic criminal cases, corporate and investment matters, and dispute resolution. Lawyer Yu Yao graduated from South China University of Technology. She has a dual degree in intellectual property and computer science. She has been practicing law for 3 years. Her areas of expertise include intellectual property, dispute resolution, and compliance.

Among these, she represented the first case in the game industry where the entire game was recognized as a compilation work, the first case involving the entire content of “King of War” in the game, the first case of a FPS game remake at the second-instance stage, and the first case where other intellectual achievements were protected as part of the game. All these cases resulted in satisfactory outcomes for the clients.
Additionally, she has represented clients in a card game remake case where the court dismissed some of the plaintiff’s claims.
Second, she has represented leading internet companies in several industry-related cases, including cloud gaming, account leasing, game peripherals, game cracking, game promotion, and traffic cheating on well-known platforms. The total amount involved was nearly 100 million yuan, and these cases were successfully resolved.
Lawyer Peng Jinqiao
Lawyer Peng Jinqiao graduated from Beijing Normal University in Zhuhai. In 2009, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law. After graduation, he worked for six years at the Chinese headquarters of Allianz in Germany. He served as the director of the brokerage channel and the general manager for the Guangdong Foshan region. In 2015, he passed the national bar exam and in 2017, he became a licensed lawyer. In 2018, he received the “Best New Lawyer of 2017” award. In 2021, he joined Longan Guangzhou as a partner. His team includes Senior Partner Chen Qiaodan, and team members include Lawyer Wen Qiuting, and interns Liu Yifan and Li Huizhi. Lawyer Peng also serves as a mediator for the Guangdong Province’s Consumer Protection Center in the banking and insurance industry.

This case received the 2023 Social Stability Award from the Guangzhou Lawyers Association.
In a case involving Zhuhai P Insurance Company, Zhuhai Y Shipping Co., Ltd., and Zhaoqing H Shipping Company, Lawyer Peng represented the insurance company and successfully recovered over 1.13 million yuan for the client. This case was selected by the Guangdong Higher People’s Court as a typical cross-border dispute case in the Greater Bay Area.
In a case involving four people, including Zhou, who was involved in a dispute over ship ownership with CJ Shipping Co., Ltd., Lawyer Peng helped the actual shipowner recover the ownership of four ships, with a total value of over 10 million yuan.
