Autumn brought cool air and a lively artistic mood. To enrich the firm’s cultural life and build a workplace atmosphere that combines professional substance with artistic warmth, on September 23–24 Longan Guangzhou launched the latest installment of its Autumn Art Festival series: a dedicated portrait photography session for all staff. The firm worked with the SOLO portrait team and invited senior photographers to shoot one-on-one, capturing professional images for colleagues and recording the highlights of the season at the firm’s offices in Guangzhou.
As one of the Autumn Art Festival activities, the portrait shoot was open to all colleagues across the firm, so that every member of the Longan community could have a quality professional image of their own. Unlike routine photo sessions, the event offered customized service throughout: drawing on the photography team’s experience in lighting and composition, the shoot was tailored to the character of legal work, balancing a sense of professional formality with each person’s individual style.
During the event, the firm’s multifunction meeting room was upgraded and rearranged into a full studio, complete with professional lighting and carefully designed backdrops to support high-quality photography. The shoot ran in an orderly and relaxed atmosphere, with the photographers guiding each colleague one-on-one, patiently adjusting composition, lighting and posture and capturing everyone at their best.
In front of the lens, colleagues appeared at ease and confident, moving between different styles. In formal business attire, they showed the steady, assured bearing and rigorous professionalism expected of legal practitioners; in simple casual looks, they revealed a warmer, more relaxed and versatile side beyond daily work. Amid the play of light and shadow, the fatigue of long hours at the desk gave way to images that reflect the enterprising spirit and individual character of Longan people, each final photo combining a polished professional feel with a personal touch.
The professional portraits produced during the session serve as business cards for external presentation, suitable for workplace profiles, business promotion and team introductions, and they also offer a vivid snapshot of a cohesive and thriving Longan Guangzhou.
Earlier, Longan Guangzhou held a photography lecture titled “Capturing Light and Shadow: The Aesthetics of Light and Shadow in Portrait Photography” and Mid-Autumn themed creative handicraft activities, giving colleagues the chance to enjoy art and unwind amid busy work. In October, the firm will continue with two further art events: a National Day photography competition and an autumn art exhibition, adding to its varied cultural program and enriching the firm’s cultural life.
Looking ahead, Longan Guangzhou will continue to invest in cultural development and to organize more thoughtful, well-crafted cultural and sports activities, using art to nourish the workplace and culture to bring people together, so that every colleague can grow and shine in a supportive environment as the firm pursues high-quality development.
