On the afternoon of June 2nd, inside Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing, laughter and joy filled the air, with a sense of playful innocence everywhere. The “Expired Children’s Day, Wishes Never Go Away” retro nostalgic event, organized by the Longan Guangzhou Youth Working Committee, began in a warm and joyful manner. Many colleagues from the law firm gathered at the event to enjoy this beautiful nostalgic experience of childhood.
The snacks that were always remembered at the school gate, the wishes written quietly in homework books, and the well-known songs from those days are all gentle treasures unique to adults. This event focused on nostalgia, creating an immersive childhood atmosphere. There were various fun activities such as a school store, a wish-sharing session, a game to guess the songs of famous characters, and a competition for childhood items. Longan Guangzhou’s senior partner and the executive vice chairman of the Youth Working Committee, Lawyer Luo Jie, hosted the event.
At the beginning of the event, Lawyer Luo Jie introduced the theme, activities, and rules of the event. His clear explanations helped everyone quickly get into the mood, and the atmosphere was full of laughter and joy.
After signing in and receiving event tokens, everyone went to the school store area to buy snacks using the tokens. Classic childhood snacks like Jianlibo, old-style fruit leathers, and Xiao Huanxiong Congee were neatly displayed. These nostalgic snacks reminded everyone of their childhood memories, bringing back the simple times when they could choose snacks freely at the school gate.
In the wish-sharing session, each person received a special wish card and wrote down their unfulfilled childhood wishes. Whether it was blueberries, cookies, or Swiss chocolate from TV commercials, or toys that weren’t needed to be the best, these simple wishes contained pure beauty. During the event, the Youth Working Committee randomly selected some wishes to be realized, while the remaining wishes were shared among all colleagues, ensuring that all unfulfilled childhood wishes had a place to be fulfilled.

The event combined various forms of competition, such as quick answers, silhouette recognition, and guessing games, around classic songs and popular anime characters. Everyone participated actively, and in the familiar melodies and classic scenes, everyone recalled their shared memories from that era.
