To support the stable development of the cosmetics industry, on August 6, 2026, the Guangzhou Taxpayers Association, the Guangzhou Baiyun Cosmetics Industry Promotion Association, and Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm will jointly host a salon on “Tax and Law: Compliance Risk Prevention and Control for the Cosmetics Industry”. The event will take place in the multi-function meeting room on the 46th floor of Tower A, Victory Plaza, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. The salon focuses on high-frequency risks in tax administration, criminal, and civil-commercial matters in the cosmetics industry, and combines the latest judicial developments and real cases to help companies clarify compliance boundaries and enhance their risk response capabilities.

Currently, Guangzhou’s cosmetics industry cluster has reached a scale of tens of billions of yuan. Enterprises face concentrated fiscal and tax issues in areas such as e-commerce traffic investment, import procedures, sample and gift products deemed as sales, and R&D expense aggregation. Disputes frequently arise in contract manufacturing, brand licensing, and channel distribution, while tax-related criminal risks remain persistently high. As these three types of risks are intertwined, compliance management from a single dimension is no longer sufficient to cope with the complex situation.

The salon has invited Lawyer Hao Hao, an innovative think tank expert of the Guangzhou Taxpayers Association and senior partner at Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm, Lawyer Zhang Bo from Beijing Long An (Foshan) Law Firm, and Lawyer Ma Xiaoyu from Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm to share their insights.
