Happy Dragon Boat Festival
On June 6th, as the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Longan Guangzhou celebrates its annual Dragon Boat Festival activities and employees’ birthday parties for the second quarter. More than thirty colleagues gathered in the law firm’s multi-functional meeting room to celebrate the festival in a fun and lively way, as well as to celebrate the birthdays of employees in that quarter. This event was hosted by Yang Li from the Comprehensive Service Center.
At the event, green ribbons of varying thickness were hung around. Several blocks depicting dragon boats and zongzi were arranged neatly together. With the “Zongzi spans four seas, love connects Longan” signage, a festive atmosphere was created. On the tables, birthday cards, various types of zongzi, delicious snacks, and fresh fruits were placed, allowing people to feel the warmth and joy of the festival.

At the beginning of the event, several questions related to the Dragon Boat Festival were asked. Host Yang Li engaged in lively interactions with everyone. Then, an interesting game of guessing idioms based on pictures was started. The pictures were interpreted correctly, and laughter filled the air. Some participants even received beautiful gifts as rewards.

After two rounds of games, the birthday guests stepped onto the stage. In the warm candlelight, they shared their wishes, sang birthday songs, blew out their candles, and ate cakes, sharing the joy of their birthdays with their colleagues.

Another highlight of this event was the activity of making crystal zongzi. The law firm hired two professional chefs to teach the process in person.
The process of making crystal zongzi is simple. With the clear explanations from the chefs, the colleagues quickly learned how to make it. Different fillings were used, and the flavors were unique, satisfying various tastes.

After making the crystal zongzi, they could be put into beautiful gift bags. It was clean and neat. While making the zongzi, people talked about their work and life, and the atmosphere was full of laughter.
