He praised President Zhai Meiqing for her efforts in conducting industry research and offering advice. He encouraged the new board to take on the responsibilities of the times, acting as a “pilot” in fostering consensus on development, a “service provider” in supporting enterprise development, and a “supervisor” in promoting cooperation and co-construction. The association should continue to build a strong connection between tax authorities and enterprises, helping to improve the tax environment in Guangzhou.

In his speech, President Zhai Meiqing reviewed the ten-year development of the association. She said that the association has always adhered to its mission of “building on integrity, achieving success through compliance, and serving the country through hard work.” The association has focused on improving communication between tax authorities and enterprises, providing professional tax services, and building an integrity culture in the industry. She emphasized that starting from this new decade, the association will lead the new board to focus on national strategies, take advantage of the Guangdong Bay Area, and maintain its commitment to integrity, long-termism, resilience, and compliance. The association will continue to build efficient communication platforms between tax authorities and enterprises, provide targeted services for enterprises, and promote an integrity and compliance culture in the industry.
