To help enterprises understand the judicial trends in current tax-related criminal cases and enhance their ability to identify, manage, and respond to tax-related criminal risks, on October 30, the Guangzhou Taxpayer Association, in collaboration with Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm, organized a special lecture titled “Management and Effective Response to Tax-related Criminal Risks”. By analyzing in depth the key provisions of Law Interpretation [2024] No. 4 on the Application of Legal Principles in Handling Criminal Cases That Endanger Tax Administration, and combining typical tax-related administrative violations and criminal cases in recent years, the event systematically outlined the points of disagreement and consensus among the four departments in judicial practice. It focused particularly on the identification criteria for common crimes such as the crime of falsely issuing special VAT invoices and tax evasion, helping enterprises accurately identify criminal risks in tax management, and proposing compliance and crisis response strategies from a practical perspective.
