For children’s growth, legal protection is essential. To strengthen legal education for young children and solidify the legal foundation for minors, recently, Liu Lixin, partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm and deputy director of the Public Welfare Committee, was invited to Fenghuanghua Tiancheng Kindergarten to conduct a public welfare legal education lecture titled “I Am a Law-Abiding Little Citizen: The Magic Little Judge’s Journey of Rules”, offering a lively and warm legal enlightenment class for the children through fun interactive activities.
The course was specially tailored for preschool children, avoiding obscure legal terms. Using the cute cartoon character “Magic Little Judge” as the storyline, it created an immersive, child-friendly legal classroom.
The class was divided into two fun sections: The first stop explored “Rights Castle”, using cute stories about little pig Dudu, rabbit, and hedgehog to teach children about four basic rights: name right, privacy right, health right, and personal privacy, guiding them to protect themselves and respect others. The second stop identified “dangerous magic bombs” lurking in daily life, including scenarios like throwing objects from heights and playing with fire, explaining everyday safety legal knowledge. The class ended with an interactive game “Little Judge Decides the Case”, allowing children to distinguish right from wrong and establish rule awareness through play.
The atmosphere was warm and joyful, filled with children’s laughter. During the lecture, Lawyer Liu Lixin used teaching methods suitable for young children, skillfully employing cartoon stories, situational questions, and interactive games to fully engage the children. The children eagerly raised their hands, actively answered questions, and shared their thoughts. Facing various innocent questions from the children, Lawyer Liu patiently and gently answered each one, planting the seeds of legal knowledge in their hearts.
