To effectively prevent school bullying, enhance the legal awareness of teenagers, and create a safe and civilized campus environment, the “Law Along the Way” legal education project for 2025-2026, jointly organized by the Guangzhou Baiyun District Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Baiyun District Education Bureau of Guangzhou, has been officially launched. Lawyer Huang Hui from Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm was invited to visit Zhuliao No. 2 Primary School in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, where she gave a legal lecture on preventing student bullying to all teachers and students. Using professional legal knowledge, she provided a legal umbrella for the children’s growth.

During the lecture, Lawyer Huang Hui focused on the cognitive level of primary school students and their actual campus life. Instead of simply interpreting legal provisions, she used real and typical campus cases, along with laws and regulations such as the “Protection of Minors Law of the People’s Republic of China” and the “Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency of the People’s Republic of China”. She explained the relevant legal knowledge about school bullying in a simple and engaging manner.

She clearly explained the definition of school bullying, common types (verbal, physical, social, online bullying), the consequences, and legal responsibilities. She also distinguished between normal play and malicious bullying, helping students understand the dangers of school bullying. Additionally, Lawyer Huang Hui taught them how to respond properly when facing bullying: not panicking, not fighting back, reporting to teachers promptly, and keeping evidence. This helped students develop a positive attitude of “rejecting bullying, protecting oneself bravely, and being friendly and helpful”. They learned to avoid being bullies or bystanders, and strive to become legal protectors.

The lecture was lively and informative. Lawyer Huang Hui’s professional explanations and friendly teaching style received high praise from teachers and students, helping to instill a strong sense of law in the children’s hearts.

Lawyer Huang Hui’s participation in this legal education project is a demonstration of her professional skills and commitment to public service. It also shows Longan (Guangzhou)’s active fulfillment of its social responsibilities and its dedication to public legal services.

In the future, Longan (Guangzhou) will continue to leverage its professional expertise to deepen public legal education efforts. It will carry out more activities that are close to the people and teenagers, using professional legal services to promote a sense of law and to contribute to creating a safe campus and advancing regional legal development.
