Recently, Xiamen University Law School released an updated version of its List of Host Institutions for Graduate Internship and Practice Activities Funded by the Tax Law Discipline (Version 4.0). The Dishi Team of Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm has been included in the list again, after first being selected in July 2024, in recognition of its strong performance in the integrated practice of law, finance and taxation.

The Dishi Team has substantial business experience and solid practical skills. In addition to its professional service capabilities, the team also takes on the responsibility of working with universities in talent development.
This renewed inclusion as an internship and practice host for the China-OECD LLM Programme on Taxation (COTP) at Xiamen University Law School is a landmark outcome in the development of the Longan Bay Area Integrated Law, Finance and Tax Research Center, and reflects Longan Guangzhou’s overall commitment to professional research, practical work and the cultivation of legal talent.
The China-OECD LLM Programme on Taxation is jointly established by the Xiamen University International Tax Law and Comparative Tax Systems Research Center and the Tax Law Teaching and Research Section of Xiamen University Law School. The Tax Law Teaching and Research Section was founded in 2007; it is China’s first doctoral program in fiscal and tax law and the first such teaching and research section among law schools of comprehensive universities. The China-OECD LLM Programme on Taxation (COTP) is a joint master’s programme in law, specializing in international tax law within the fiscal and tax law field, established by Xiamen University (XMU), the State Taxation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (STA), the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China (MOF) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). It aims to train senior tax management professionals with a broad international perspective and lasting international competitiveness, proficient in international tax law knowledge and skills, able to adapt to the rapid development of international tax rules, able to effectively disseminate and apply those rules, and able to use theory and knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems in international taxation.
The Dishi Team’s position on the new version of the list is another important outcome since the establishment of the Longan Bay Area Integrated Law, Finance and Tax Research Center, helping to advance the integrated development of law, finance and tax in greater depth. It also demonstrates Xiamen University Law School’s recognition of Longan Guangzhou’s professional strength and its approach to talent cultivation.
Going forward, the Longan Bay Area Integrated Law, Finance and Tax Research Center will continue to coordinate and bring together professional and industry resources across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, build a multi-dimensional and multi-level resource matching platform, and keep improving its integrated and international service capabilities to better respond to the real needs of clients and the market. Longan Guangzhou will take this as a new starting point, further deepen collaboration with universities, develop the university-firm co-education model, cultivate more interdisciplinary legal talent, and contribute practical strength to the high-quality development of the rule of law.
