On December 19th, the Longan Guangzhou Law Firm organized a special event for those celebrating their birthdays during the fourth quarter. The theme was “Reunion on the Winter Solstice, Warmth and Celebration.” The event was a warm and joyful gathering that combined traditional customs with birthday blessings. The event began in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Host He Jianye started the event with a warm message: “The Winter Solstice is as important as the New Year, and it’s a time for family reunions.” He said that people usually spend their time working in courts and cases, but today, they can take a break from their work and enjoy a joyful gathering during winter.

The interactive activities were creative, combining traditional elements with modern ideas. The “Drumming Flower Game” involved passing the flower around as the music played. When the music stopped, people who held the flower performed songs or dances, creating a joyful atmosphere.
“Guess the lines from the pictures” activity reminded people of past memories. Classic movie scenes and familiar dialogue led to happy moments for those who guessed correctly, while others smiled with understanding. The scene became a sea of joy.
Then, the birthday song played, and candlelight illuminated the faces of everyone. The birthday people shared the cake, and photos captured the moment of joyous reunion. On the eve of the Winter Solstice, round, soft tangyuan were served on the table. The warmth and sweetness filled the air. “Eating tangyuan on the Winter Solstice means having a happy reunion every year.” This isn’t just a festival tradition, but also a sincere wish from Longan Guangzhou for everyone to have a happy life and success.
