To promote the compliance of intellectual property rights for private enterprises in Guangzhou, strengthen their innovation, protection, and utilization of intellectual property rights, and further enhance the high-quality development of private enterprises, the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce (Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce) organized the “Legal Health Check” service for intellectual property rights compliance of private enterprises in Guangzhou in 2024. This event was carried out jointly by the Guangzhou Private Enterprise Complaint Center, the Federation of Industry and Commerce of various districts, and Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing.

The Longan Bay Intellectual Property Research Center, along with a team of experienced lawyers, including the director of the Longan Bay Intellectual Property Research Center, the deputy director of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee, senior partner Lawyer Wu Rangjun, senior partner Lawyer Liu Rennan from Longan Guangzhou, senior researcher Lawyer Guo Shuai, and researcher Lawyer Tian Shuangli, formed an expert legal team to provide the “Legal Health Check” service for private enterprises in Guangzhou.

This “Legal Health Check” activity started in May 2024 and will continue until October 2024. It is divided into three stages: First, through online surveys, questionnaires were distributed to enterprises to understand their current situation in intellectual property rights and their needs in management, utilization, and protection. Then, the Longan Guangzhou legal team will conduct on-site investigations to provide customized free legal health check services, ensuring that each enterprise receives targeted legal guidance. Finally, scientific investigations, analyses, and evaluations will be carried out on enterprises to understand their current management of intellectual property rights, identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, and produce personalized health check reports for the enterprises.

As of June 2024, under the participation and guidance of Deputy Director He Chen and Level 3 Researcher Hu Jiping from the Complaint Center of the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Longan Guangzhou “Legal Health Check” legal team has conducted on-site visits to enterprises such as Guangzhou Chengzhi Intelligent Machine Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Jixiang Technology Co., Ltd., Hainan Yuanyou Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Zaozhida (Guangdong) Technology Co., Ltd. These enterprises welcomed the legal team’s visit and actively participated in the exchange activities.

The Longan Guangzhou “Legal Health Check” legal team, through face-to-face communication with enterprises, gained a deep understanding of the intellectual property issues and challenges they face. They provided targeted legal advice, providing strong legal support for the high-quality and long-term development of these enterprises. In the future, the Longan Guangzhou “Legal Health Check” legal team will maintain high professional standards and enthusiasm for service, continuing to provide high-quality and efficient legal services to more enterprises.
