Recently, Lawyer Kong Ming, a partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm, was invited by the Sihui City Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau to serve as a member of the expert panel and provide professional legal advice on the legislative review of the “Sihui City Historic and Cultural City Protection Management Measures (Draft)”.
The expert review meeting was chaired by Luo Yangfan, the deputy director of the Sihui City Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and chief engineer. Participants included representatives from the Municipal Justice Bureau, the Municipal Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, the Municipal Natural Resources Bureau, the Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, and the Municipal United Front Work Department.
As an expert advisor in the legal field, Lawyer Kong Ming formed an expert panel together with experts from Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou Yacheng Planning and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. The panel listened to the introduction of the main contents of the “Sihui City Historic and Cultural City Protection Management Measures (Draft)” by the drafting unit, as well as the opinions of the participating units, and actively offered suggestions for the draft measures. With his extensive legal knowledge, Lawyer Kong Ming provided many practical suggestions from a legislative perspective regarding the content of the draft measures.

Lawyer Kong Ming graduated from the Law School of South China Normal University with a master’s degree in law (administrative law). He is currently a partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm, as well as the deputy director of the Longan Bay ASEAN Law Research Center and a senior researcher at the Longan Bay Law, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center. His main areas of practice include civil and commercial dispute resolution, administrative law, and foreign-related legal services in Southeast Asia (Indonesia).
