Guangzhou Lawyers Debate Team
Recently, the reorganization of the Guangzhou Lawyers Debate Team was successfully completed. The Guangzhou Lawyers Association announced the final list of members of the debate team. Lawyer Chen Changqin from Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm was selected due to his excellent professional skills, outstanding debating abilities, and rich experience in debates and legal practice.
Lawyer Chen Changqin joined Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in February 2022. He is currently a member of the Longan Guangzhou Company Law Committee, a member of the Longan Guangzhou Youth Department, and a researcher at the Longan Bay Intellectual Property Research Center. With experience in corporate legal affairs and services, Lawyer Chen provides permanent legal advisory services and specialized legal services to various large enterprises, banks, and community organizations, including Guangdong Highway Affairs Center, Guangdong Highway Administration Road and Bridge Center, and Bank of Communications Guangdong Branch. His services cover corporate governance, dispute resolution, contract risk management, compliance system establishment, labor and personnel compliance, and the disposal of non-performing assets.
Lawyer Chen Changqin is skilled in resolving various civil and commercial disputes and handling corporate legal matters related to labor law, company law, and entertainment law. He has successfully represented many large cases, and his cases have received awards from the Guangzhou Lawyers Association for his work achievements.
Lawyer Chen Changqin also has great achievements in the field of debates. During his university years, he served as the captain of the debate team at South China University of Technology in 2015. He led his team to win several championships in provincial and municipal debate competitions, such as the champion in the Guangdong division of the 9th World Chinese Debate Championship and the best debater in a single match. He also won championships in the 4th and 5th “Southern Cup” Debate Championships, as well as the champion in the 2nd Guangzhou Sixteen Schools League.

Moreover, after graduating, he actively participated in various debate competitions. In November 2020, he won the award for the best debater in a single match during the Shenzhen Law Society’s “People’s Debates” competition. In 2020, he served as a judge for the North America Debate League, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Student Debate Competition, and the Chinese Debate World Cup (Guangdong division). In 2024, he received the team excellence award in the 5th Guangzhou Lawyers Debate Competition. That same year, he won the championship and the award for the best debater in the Longan National Lawyers (Criminal) Debate Competition.
Being selected for the Guangzhou Lawyers Debate Team is not only a recognition of Lawyer Chen Changqin’s abilities, but also a honor for Longan Guangzhou. It is believed that in future legal debate work, Lawyer Chen Changqin will continue to leverage his professional skills and contribute more wisdom and effort to promoting legal practice and legal exchange. It is also hoped that he will continue to improve himself on a new platform and achieve even greater success.
