Recently, the Guangzhou Lawyers Association officially released the first batch of the Guangzhou Outstanding Young Lawyers “Lingyun Plan” list. Lawyer Wu Rangjun, a senior partner at Longan Guangzhou, Lawyer Ge Xiangrong, a senior partner, and Lawyer Ke Cheng, a partner, have successfully made it onto the list!

At the same time, another good news came: Lawyers Huang Kaiyan and Liang Xinyuan have been selected as members of the fifth batch of mediators at the Guangzhou International Commercial Mediation Center. The “Lingyun Plan” is a program formulated by the Guangzhou Justice Bureau to implement the basic strategy of comprehensive law-based governance and the strategy of strengthening talent resources. It aims to promote the development of a law-based Guangzhou. This program is based on the “Guangdong Foreign Lawyers Training ‘Yue Law Project’ Plan” issued by the Guangdong Provincial Justice Department, as well as the “Work Plan for Innovative Pilot Programs in Lawyer Training” issued by the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee’s Office for Governing the City in a Law-based manner. The goal is to select and train a group of outstanding young lawyers, thereby facilitating the hierarchical and categorized training of lawyers and better serving the high-quality development of Guangzhou’s economy and society.

The Guangzhou International Commercial Mediation Center (English name: Guangzhou International Commercial Mediation Center, abbreviation: GICMC) is a commercial mediation institution with non-profit status, organized by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association. It is under the jurisdiction of the Guangzhou Justice Bureau. It handles disputes between domestic and foreign parties in areas such as trade, investment, mergers and acquisitions, finance, securities, insurance, intellectual property, information technology, real estate, construction engineering, urban renewal, and other commercial and maritime matters. It also handles disputes assigned or commissioned by the People’s Courts, arbitration committees, or other dispute resolution institutions.

Lawyer Wu Rangjun

Lawyer Wu Rangjun graduated from Peking University and holds dual qualifications as a lawyer and patent agent.
