On July 13, the semi-final of the first Guangdong Province Lawyer Industry AI Innovation Competition was successfully held in Zhuhai. 30 teams participated in the competition, focusing on five practical areas: design of legal representation plans, application of legal documents, organization of case files, legal education and promotion, and brand promotion of law firms. They competed in innovating AI applications in legal services. In the end, the “AI Research and Law Office” team composed of lawyers Li Boyang and Ye Junxi from Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm emerged victorious after a fierce competition with other teams. Their professional advantages in terms of innovation, practicality, and legality helped them advance to the final!

Present were the President of the Guangdong Province Lawyers Association, Xiao Shengfang; Secretary-General Xu Minbiao; Tong Man, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Zhuhai Justice Bureau; Peng Bingzhi, Second-level Researcher and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhuhai Lawyer Industry; Wang Lei, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice Chairman of the Zhuhai Federation of Trade Unions; and Wang Bin, President of the Zhuhai Lawyers Association. Also present were Huang Shan, Vice President of the Guangdong Province Lawyers Association; Lin Shengliang, Deputy Secretary-General; Yuan Feng, Secretary-General of the Construction of Information Technology in the Lawyer Industry Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association, and other leaders and guests. Nearly 200 people in total, including 30 teams and representatives from legal technology companies, witnessed this event.

In the semi-final, lawyers Li Boyang and Ye Junxi presented their innovation in the application of AI in legal documents through a “on-site practice + in-depth explanation” format. They effectively demonstrated the benefits of AI technology in legal services. As a result, the “AI Research and Law Office” team from Longan Guangzhou stood out among 30 strong teams and became one of the three excellent teams that advanced to the final in Guangzhou.

In the future, Longan Guangzhou will take this competition as an opportunity to further explore the application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in legal practice. It will also strive to make legal services more efficient and intelligent, providing clients with more intelligent and precise legal service solutions.
