Profile of the Lawyers

Lawyer Wu Rangjun

Lawyer Wu Rangjun graduated from Peking University and holds both lawyer and patent agent qualifications. His main areas of expertise include intellectual property, dispute resolution, permanent legal advisory services, and compliance issues.

Currently, Wu Rangjun is the Deputy Chairman and Senior Partner of Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He serves as a member of the National Lawyers Association’s Intellectual Property Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s Copyright Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s Trademark and Copyright Committee, Director of the Longan Bay Intellectual Property Research Center, Director of the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Research Association’s Trade Secret Committee, expert on civil and administrative cases at the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, and arbitrator at arbitration boards in Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Zhuhai. He is also an external tutor at South China University of Technology’s Law School and an adjunct professor at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies’ Law School. With extensive experience, solid legal knowledge, and skilled litigation skills, Wu Rangjun has handled thousands of cases related to copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, computer software, integrated circuit design, domain names, and technical contract disputes. He has also handled hundreds of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases involving company equity, finance, construction, and real estate. His expertise in intellectual property and dispute resolution is extensive.

Wu Rangjun’s team adheres to the principle of “professionalism with depth, service with warmth”. Their cases have been recognized as typical cases several times, and their professional skills are highly recognized in the industry. Among the intellectual property cases they handle, 47 cases have been selected as typical cases by the Supreme People’s Court, various high courts, intellectual property courts, and professional institutions. In civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases, 17 cases have received awards from the Lawyers Association. Their research papers have also won multiple awards.

Lawyer Zhou Junwei

Lawyer Zhou Junwei holds both lawyer and auditor qualifications, and holds a master’s degree in accounting. He is the Director and Senior Partner of Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He is a member of the 11th Guangdong Hailu County Political Consultative Conference, Standing Committee Member (currently in office). He is a representative of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, Deputy Chairman of the Bankruptcy and Liquidation Committee, and a member of the Guangdong Bankruptcy Administrator Association. He is also a member of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s Political Participation Committee and the Deputy Chairman of the smuggling crime criminal committee. He is a member of the International Commercial Law Firm Alliance and a member of the Guangzhou Asset Management Association. He is also a legal advisor for Guangdong Hailu Middle School alumni and a deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Hailu Chamber of Commerce. He is also an external tutor at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

Zhou Junwei has worked at the Chinese Customs and is very familiar with corporate finance and accounting. He has made significant achievements in defending economic crimes, understanding the composition and determination of economic crimes, and helping companies avoid criminal risks. He has successfully secured bail for clients several times. He has also handled nearly 20 cases where the client was acquitted or not charged.

In terms of bankruptcy and restructuring, Zhou Junwei has been the manager or leader of nearly 40 bankruptcy and liquidation cases. He has in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to bankruptcy and compulsory liquidation. He has extensive experience in handling state-owned assets. In recent years, he has handled 4 bankruptcy and restructuring cases involving assets or liabilities exceeding one billion. He also has extensive experience in foreign-related legal matters, including foreign investment, civil disputes, and criminal defense for foreigners.

Lawyer Roger

Lawyer Roger is a Senior Partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He is the Secretary-General of the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s Defense Committee for Official Offenses. He is a member of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s Criminal Defense Committee, a hearing officer for the Panyu District Procuratorate, and the Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Longan Bay Criminal Prevention and Control Research Center. He is also one of the founders of the Qiming Criminal Defense Team.

Roger specializes in criminal law and is skilled in handling complex and serious criminal cases, including official offenses, economic crimes, and smuggling-related crimes. He has handled over 700 cases. His team operates with professionalism, diligence, and adherence to law. They have successfully defended clients in cases where they were acquitted, not charged, given a suspended sentence, or had their sentences changed. They have received multiple awards from the Guangzhou Lawyers Association for their work.

Lawyer Xie Xin

Lawyer Xie Xin is a Senior Partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He is a member of the Guangdong Law Society’s Network and E-commerce Law Research Committee, a member of the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Working Committee, and a member of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s Greater Bay Area and Free Trade Zone Professional Committee. He is also an expert advisor at the Longan Bay ASEAN Law Research Center. He is also an arbitrator at several arbitration boards. Since starting his career, Xie Xin has focused on corporate governance, cross-border investment, e-commerce and logistics, and commercial litigation. His cases cover Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong and Macao. He provides support for cross-border exchanges and investments for institutions and companies. He has extensive negotiation skills and good communication abilities. He is skilled in resolving disputes through various methods. His clients include provincial government departments, state-owned banks, large central enterprises, and state-owned financial institutions.

Lawyer Liu Yanfeng

Lawyer Liu Yanfeng graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law. He is a partner at Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He is the Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Longan Guangzhou Major and Complex Commercial Case Research Center. He is a member of the Guangdong Lawyers Association’s Labor and Social Security Law Professional Committee. He has been a lawyer for over ten years and has handled over 800 cases. He specializes in resolving major and complex commercial disputes. He has handled cases involving a company on the New Third Board and employees who violated trade secrets. These cases were selected as one of the top ten typical cases by the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court in 2021.
