The Guangzhou Lawyers Association recently began forming its International Commercial Arbitration Training Team (the “Arbitration Team”), selecting 100 legal professionals from among lawyers across the city on a competitive basis. The initiative is intended to strengthen Guangzhou lawyers’ professional capacity in foreign-related commercial arbitration, consolidate the city’s legal service resources in this area and broaden lawyers’ channels for international commercial arbitration work. Through daily practical training, moot arbitrations, industry competitions and external exchanges, the team is expected to become a professional, high-level backbone group for foreign-related arbitration, laying a talent foundation for the high-quality development of Guangzhou’s foreign-related economy.
Partners Ou Yingshi and Liang Guoen, together with Cai Mengfei and Pan Yetong, of Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm were selected as members of the Arbitration Team (listed in the order used in the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s roster).

The four selected lawyers have a solid grounding in foreign-related legal practice and a strong professional record, combining sound expertise with well-developed overall practice capabilities, and they are familiar with international commercial rules and foreign-related arbitration practice. Going forward, they will take an active part in training through the Arbitration Team platform, continuing to sharpen their professional capabilities in practical exercises and industry exchanges.
Longan Guangzhou has long adhered to a professional and international approach to development, attaches importance to building its legal team and developing talent, and has continued to deepen its work in foreign-related legal services, focusing on the core needs of foreign-related legal services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In the future, Longan Guangzhou will continue to consolidate the foundation of its professional services, fully integrate resources from inside and outside the firm, and help its lawyers deepen their areas of expertise and further improve their comprehensive legal service capabilities, so as to provide clients with higher-quality and more professional legal services.
