Recently, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Maritime and Commercial Mediation Center (MCMC) and the Beijing Social Organizations Legal Mediation Center announced their mediator rosters. Several attorneys from Longan Guangzhou were appointed due to their professional expertise and practice experience. Specifically, Cai Jiaxin, Chen Kang, Huang Xiaoyun, Yang Lun, Yang Yucheng, and Zhang Shuya (in alphabetical order by surname) were selected as mediators for the inaugural panel of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Maritime and Commercial Mediation Center (MCMC). Additionally, Yang Yucheng and Zhang Shuya were appointed as mediators for the Beijing Social Organizations Legal Mediation Center. This recognition highlights Longan Guangzhou’s capabilities in maritime, commercial, and civil dispute resolution.

The appointed attorneys practice across various fields, including international maritime and admiralty law, civil and commercial dispute resolution, real estate, finance, intellectual property, and sports and entertainment. They bring extensive experience to the management of complex mediation proceedings.

These appointments acknowledge the professional qualifications of the selected attorneys and reflect the ongoing development of Longan Guangzhou’s legal service capabilities.

Moving forward, Longan Guangzhou will continue to strengthen its professional services and expand its international capabilities, participating in commercial mediation to support regional legal and economic development.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Maritime and Commercial Mediation Center (MCMC)

To support the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Cooperation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha, Guangzhou” and facilitate the development of Nansha as a preferred hub for maritime and commercial legal services, the Guangdong Shipping Law Research Society, the Guangzhou Transportation Law Research Society, and the Guangzhou Shipping Law Research Society jointly initiated the establishment of the MCMC. Operating as an independent, non-profit organization, the MCMC specializes in maritime and commercial mediation, covering disputes in trade, shipping, intellectual property, the internet, investment, finance, and engineering construction.

Initiated by the Beijing Chaoyang Association of Social Organizations, the center was approved by the Beijing Chaoyang District Justice Bureau and registered with the Chaoyang District Civil Affairs Bureau in September 2015. Composed of legal professionals and interdisciplinary experts, it is a non-profit civil organization dedicated to legal research on social organizations, structural governance solutions, compliance guidelines for administrative organs, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms.
