Lawyer Zhou Junwei specializes in bankruptcy liquidation and restructuring, criminal defense in economic crimes, and foreign legal matters. He has extensive practical experience. At the meeting, he first introduced the team’s business situation: focusing on “one main area with two supporting areas,” leveraging the combination of law and finance/accounting, and focusing on major and complex cases. This has become the team’s unique competitive advantage. In terms of business operations, Lawyer Zhou shared ideas for expanding clients. He suggested focusing on existing clients, leveraging existing resources, and promoting cross-functional collaboration among different types of clients, thereby upgrading legal services from individual services to a comprehensive support system. Regarding team building and business development, Lawyer Zhou proposed adhering to professional and elite development, establishing a regular mechanism for discussing major cases and solving complex problems, valuing collective wisdom, creating an open and inclusive team atmosphere, building trust through professional skills, ensuring quality through teamwork, and maximizing value through platform advantages. At the end of his presentation, he discussed four key topics: internal collaboration, platform support, young lawyer development, and brand building, and exchanged ideas with the partners on how to achieve high-quality development for the firm.

Partner in Longan Guangzhou

Lawyer Zhang Shuyao shared her experience in team building. She introduced the name of the Qingwu Law Firm team and the composition of its core members. She mentioned that the team focuses on civil and commercial litigation, especially contract disputes. Its biggest advantage is its strong delivery capacity, as it completed nearly 1500 pages of bids overnight and won the bid. In terms of team management, the team adheres to the principle of “empowering rather than controlling,” maintaining balance between flexibility and strictness. Considering the current situation of information barriers created by AI platforms, Lawyer Li also explained the ecosystem characteristics of mainstream content platforms and the scope of AI visibility. He proposed a multi-platform strategy: “using Zhihu and their own websites as a foundation, using WeChat to build trust, and using ByteDance and小红书 to add value.” Finally, Lawyer Li pointed out that AI is revolutionizing legal work efficiency. He called on everyone to follow the trend, embrace GEO and AI tools, and seize opportunities in the AI era.

Conclusion

Director Liu Xin

Director of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee

At the end of the event, Director Liu Xin of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee gave a concluding speech. He praised the professional presentations of the four speakers, noting that the Xinyouhui meeting was practical and diverse in perspective. It strengthened traditional business skills while expanding knowledge in cutting-edge areas. Liu Xin also discussed the trends in the industry, saying that legal services in the new era are undergoing structural upgrades driven by AI. In the future, there may be a balance between centralized empowerment and individual development. Law firms should continue to focus on three aspects: how to develop public business platforms effectively in the era of Internet marketing, how to build a solid foundation for AI services, and how to improve individual lawyers’ understanding and application skills.

The successful holding of the Xinyouhui (Ninth Session) not only strengthened the professional trust and emotional bonds among partners in Longan Guangzhou but also promoted the sharing of business experience and the integration of resources. This has been very beneficial for strengthening the firm’s cohesion and core competitiveness. Looking ahead, Longan Guangzhou will continue to adopt a long-term approach, using the “light of Xinyouhui” to guide collaboration, combining individual wisdom into a collective force, and continuously strengthening its foundation for sustainable development.
