Women’s Day
On the afternoon of March 6th, the Longan Guangzhou Law Firm was filled with the fragrance of flowers and laughter. A flower arranging event dedicated to “Experiencing the Beauty of Flowers in Spring” began. The female lawyers, who usually spend their time working hard and moving between courts and offices, took a break from cases and computers to enjoy a time related to spring and flowers.
This event was organized by the Longan Guangzhou female lawyers’ department, aiming to provide a space where these busy lawyers can relax and appreciate the beauty of life. At 14:30, in the conference room of Longan Guangzhou, the atmosphere was filled with flowers and the spirit of spring.
The event started in a warm atmosphere. Lawyer Luo Xiaoxi, a partner at Longan Guangzhou and the head of the female lawyers’ department, served as the host. She welcomed the female lawyers with a warm and friendly speech.
Then, Lawyer Wang Huixia, a senior partner at Longan Guangzhou and the head of the female lawyers’ department, gave a speech. She said that legal work is rational and precise, but life needs emotion and poetry. She hoped that everyone would take a moment to enjoy the beauty of flowers during this event.
The event had two main themes: arranging fresh flowers and creating eternal flowers in crystal glass containers.
During the flower arranging session, the flower arrangement artist explained basic knowledge about flowers, characteristics of common flower materials, and how to care for them. Roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus leaves… each flower had its own unique meaning and vitality. The female lawyers listened carefully, then used scissors to trim, shape, and arrange the flowers into beautiful and poetic arrangements.
The eternal flower creation session was more creative and fun. People carefully selected eternal flowers and placed them in crystal glass containers, creating lasting decorative items. Inside the small glass containers, not only were the beauty of the flowers preserved, but also the peace and tenderness of that moment.
After over two hours of creating, everyone returned with their own beautiful arrangements. Some placed the flowers on their desks, while others took the eternal flowers home to keep as a souvenir. As the theme of the event said—“Experiencing the beauty of flowers in spring”—they relaxed in the fragrance of flowers and regained their tenderness through creation.
