Against the backdrop of the restructuring of the global industrial chain and the deepening cooperation under the “Belt and Road” initiative, an increasing number of Chinese enterprises are turning their attention to the Southeast Asian market, especially Thailand, which serves as a regional hub. However, cross-border investment often involves issues such as unfamiliar policies, legal risks, financing obstacles, and compliance challenges. To assist enterprises in successfully expanding overseas, on October 27, 2025, Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm, together with Thai Wissen&Co Law Firm (Wissen&Co Ltd.), CITIC Bank Guangzhou Branch, and cross-border compliance experts, organized a “Cross-Border Investment in Thailand: Risks and Compliance Practices” salon event. During this event, Longan Guangzhou and Thai Wissen&Co Law Firm officially established a strategic cooperation agreement, and a formal signing ceremony was held.

Lawyer Sha Yuchen, the founding partner of Longan Guangzhou, attended the event and delivered a speech. Ms. Liu Xing from CITIC Bank Guangzhou Branch, Dr. Xu Lingyun from China Law Tax Group, and Lawyer Jin Li, a partner at Longan Guangzhou and director of the Longan Bay ASEAN Law Research Center, were invited to give presentations. The event was hosted by Cai Mengfei, a rising talent in foreign-related lawyers in Guangdong Province, who also provided live interpretation.
