On the morning of February 6th, Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing became a “Festive Gathering” filled with the scent of ink, the sweetness of sugar paintings, and laughter. The “Festive Market” event, organized by the Party General Branch and the Public Welfare Committee of Longan Guangzhou, was held in a warm breeze. Many colleagues and guests gathered together to enjoy this unique cultural festive occasion.
At the event site, there were three experience areas: calligraphy Spring Festival couplets, delicious sugar paintings, and the production of traditional handicraft clothing. Under the guidance of Lawyer Cai Jiahui, a member of the publicity committee of the Party General Branch of Longan Guangzhou and the director of the Public Welfare Committee, the firm invited several traditional craftsmen to interact with everyone face-to-face. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic.

In the “Calligraphy Spring Festival Couplets” area, the scent of ink lingered. For this hand-written couplet activity, Wu Jietang, a registered calligrapher from the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and the founder of Dagang Qingmo Art Creation Museum, along with Lawyer Chen Huan, who is skilled in various types of writing and painting, helped create the couplets. Red paper was used, and the ink flowed smoothly, creating traditional and interesting “福” characters and couplets.
The couplets created by Wu Jietang were very popular among the people. Everyone gathered around the teacher to learn how to write and use the pen, and to appreciate the beauty of calligraphy.

On the other side, Lawyer Chen Huan’s desk was always filled with warmth. He has been creating couplets for many years, becoming a tradition in Longan Guangzhou. His writing was smooth, and the characters representing the zodiac animals were vivid. Each stroke carried sincere wishes for the people.

In the “Delicious Sugar Paintings” area, the sweetness filled the air. The queues were full of people waiting to get their hands on the products. Lin Xinqi, a member of the Chinese Folk Arts Association and a master of Guangdong folk art, created the sugar paintings. The syrup seemed to have life in her hands, and with her hand moving, the lively characters of “福” and “马” and “金龙” appeared on the paper. The shiny sugar threads brought laughter and joy to everyone at Longan Guangzhou.
The “Traditional Handicraft Clothing Production” area was full of creativity and focus. Under the guidance of Teacher Li Baiheng, who is a master of the traditional handicraft technique of clothing, everyone carefully selected materials and carefully combined them to create unique Chinese-style dolls. Through each stitch and decoration, traditional aesthetics became accessible in a cute and innovative way.
The gentle breeze brought warmth, and the scent of ink remained. The Festive Market in Longan Guangzhou ended in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, marking the beginning of a beautiful and lively New Year 2026. This traditional gathering allowed the people of Longan Guangzhou to enjoy a strong sense of community and culture during their busy times.
