Cai Yong has long focused on intellectual property litigation, major civil and commercial dispute resolution, corporate legal counsel, enforcement disputes, and criminal cases. He has accumulated extensive experience handling contract disputes, unfair competition disputes, trademark and copyright protection, corporate criminal rights protection, and economic crime defense.

Cai Yong has provided litigation representation, IP rights protection, criminal complaints, compliance support, and annual legal advisory services for companies in the internet, gaming, daily chemical, food, and apparel industries. His clients include well-known game companies such as Tanwan Games, 37 Interactive Entertainment, and Star Hui Interactive; daily chemical brands such as Fanmeili (Beijing) Cosmetics and Guangzhou Huanya Cosmetics; and large enterprises such as Xiwei (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

In the IP and civil/commercial field, Cai has handled several industry-influential cases. In a computer software development contract dispute between a Chengdu technology company and a technology joint-stock company, Cai represented the software developer through first-instance proceedings at the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court and second-instance at the Supreme People’s Court, ultimately winning the lawsuit and recovering the judgment amount. The case was rated as a “2022 Recommended Learning Case for Intellectual Property by the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Association.” In another unfair competition case brought on behalf of a well-known listed daily chemical company, Cai succeeded in obtaining a second-instance judgment that increased the damages to RMB 2 million. That case was selected as one of the “2023 Outstanding Lingnan Intellectual Property Litigation Cases” and received the “Second Prize for 2023 Business Achievements from the Guangzhou Lawyers Association.”

In the criminal defense field, Cai represented a well-known game company in a criminal complaint for illegal acquisition of computer information system data, precisely defining the nature of the stolen data and persuading the court to find the circumstances “especially serious” and impose a corresponding sentence. He also led trademark counterfeiting criminal enforcement for a well-known daily chemical company, successfully identifying the source manufacturer and assisting public security authorities in shutting down the counterfeit production site. In addition, in a case where a client surnamed Liu was charged with spreading obscene materials for profit, Cai intervened at the investigation stage, submitted multiple legal opinions, and engaged with the authorities on issues such as appraisal opinions and unit crime. He managed to reduce the sentencing risk from a possible sentence of ten years or more to a recommended sentence of less than three years, achieving a significant defense result.

Chen Jingjing

Deep expertise in finance and capital markets, balancing litigation and non-litigation practice

Chen Jingjing holds a Master of Laws from Fuzhou University, with a research focus on economic law, and has practiced law for six years. She has participated in multiple domestic academic conferences and published professional papers, building a solid theoretical foundation in economic law.

Chen Jingjing has provided annual legal counsel services for multiple companies, led a series of cases for a financial institution, participated in several fund registration and filing projects and equity acquisition projects, and accumulated extensive legal service experience in various capital market projects. Recognizing her outstanding performance, the law firm where she previously practiced named her its 2024 National Outstanding Financial and Capital Markets Lawyer.

Yu Jicheng

Yu Jicheng graduated from the Law School of Heilongjiang University and has been devoted to legal practice for many years. He brings a combined background of enterprise-wide risk control at a large group company and team-based practice at a major law firm.

Early in his career, Yu Jicheng worked at the headquarters of a national group enterprise, primarily responsible for full-process risk control and litigation management in a specialized financial segment. He participated in evaluating traditional financing projects and incubating innovative financial projects. Over the years, he developed a practical understanding of commercial logic and the pain points of business clients, accumulating first-hand experience in written negotiations, project coordination, financial activities, asset management, and litigation strategy in business dealings and corporate operations.

After returning to private practice, Yu Jicheng has focused on civil/commercial litigation and criminal defense, particularly handling complex disputes involving overlapping legal relationships, atypical facts, intricate interests, and difficult fact-finding.
