Recently, the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce jointly organized the event “Promoting the Law and Coordinating Economic Development – Implementing the Private Economy Promotion Law and the 6th session of the 2025 “Guangzhou Unity Forum” (Session 100).” The event invited Yu Bin, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former deputy director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, to give a special lecture. Wang Huanqing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, attended and gave a speech. Wei Guohua, deputy head of the United Front Work Department and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, presided over the event. More than 200 people participated in the event, including cadres from the United Front Work Department, entrepreneurs and business associations from the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, and participants from the New Sui Business School.

Wang Huanqing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, awarded the “Legal Expert Unit” certificate to 10 organizations, including the Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. Hao Hao, a senior partner at Longan Guangzhou, and Liu Rennan, a partner at Longan Guangzhou, represented the law firms at the award ceremony. In his speech, Wang Huanqing said that the Private Economy Promotion Law is a fundamental law related to the development of the private economy. It is of great significance in the development of the private economy in China. It is necessary to understand the care and love shown by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Central Committee towards the private economy from a political perspective. We should promote enterprises to learn and use the law, and foster a positive interaction between government and enterprises. We should also promote the development of the private economy with greater commitment.

The 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former deputy director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Yu Bin, gave a lecture on “Macroeconomic Situation Analysis and Policy Adjustment.” He analyzed the opportunities and challenges for enterprises in the global industrial chain restructuring, based on domestic and international economic data and examples. His forward-looking views provided practical guidance for enterprises to cope with complex environments.

Currently, the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce are forming a team of 100 people to carry out activities in 100 associations and 100 enterprises. In the future, Longan Guangzhou will fully utilize its talent and professional advantages to participate more deeply in the “Promoting the Law and Coordinating Economic Development” activities organized by the United Front Work Department and the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce.
