On August 16, 2025, the 2025 “Longan Cup” National AI Legal Intelligent Agent Competition Final was held at the Marriott Hotel in Guangzhou. Organized by Longan Law Firm, co-organized by WELEGAL Law Alliance and Mista Technology, and hosted by Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm. This competition included various key stages such as pre-event activities, opening ceremonies, specialized training, preliminary rounds, and the final. It lasted over three months, attracting many elites from the fields of law and technology across the country to participate actively.

“Outbound Compliance Treasure” by Longan Guangzhou Yunshan Team and “Smart Lawyer AI Litigation Courtroom Assistance System” by Longan Guangzhou AI Research and Law Office successfully made it to the final from dozens of entries. With their unique innovative concepts, practical application scenarios, and significant social benefits, they stood out among the 10 final teams and won the first prize in the 2025 “Longan Cup” National AI Legal Intelligent Agent Competition.

The event was broadcast online, attracting over ten thousand people who watched through the WeChat video accounts of “Longan Law Firm” and “WELEGAL Law Alliance”. At the same time, the competition received attention from multiple central and provincial-level media outlets. Media such as Xinhua Net, China Net, Guangzhou TV, Information Times, and Sina.com reported on it.

Liu Xin, the fifth chairman of the Longan Development Fund Board, director of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee, and chief partner; Yuan Feng, secretary-general of the Information Committee of the National Lawyers Association and director of the Information Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association; Yao Zhiwei, a professor at the Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, attended the final and delivered speeches.

Lawyer Ye Peng, senior partner of Longan Guangzhou, secretary of the Party branch, and member of the Information Construction Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association; Ms. Liang Yuzhen, deputy secretary-general of the fifth session of the Longan Development Fund Board, deputy director of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee, and head of the Comprehensive Service Center, and other guests attended the competition. Lawyer Chen Huan, author of the best-selling legal book “Essential AI Core Skills for Lawyers”, and six other legal professionals and industry explorers in the AI field were invited to serve as expert judges. The final was hosted by Lawyer Chen Changqin from Longan Guangzhou Law Firm.

The Longan Guangzhou Yunshan Team, composed of four excellent lawyers—Li Boyang, Ou Yingshi, Pan Yetong, and Ye Junxi—developed “Outbound Compliance Treasure”. This product addresses the challenges and needs of outbound enterprises in compliance, as well as the practical needs of lawyers in connecting with clients. It combines “AI” and “outbound compliance” effectively. Through a “five-step compliance method” including preliminary assessment, risk assessment, visual reports, intelligent backend, and real-time monitoring, it provides comprehensive support for outbound enterprises from risk screening to compliance advice.

The AI Research and Law Office team composed of Lawyers Li Boyang and Ye Junxi developed “Smart Lawyer AI Litigation Courtroom Assistance System” to address common challenges faced by legal professionals in litigation. By integrating the three functions of “AI + case management + simulation”, they created this system. Technically, this product was developed by Lawyers Li Boyang and Ye Junxi using a mature Python ecosystem. The architecture design emphasizes the rigor of data models, with a dual storage mechanism for each case. It balances readability and system processing efficiency. The AI model is flexible and open, giving users full control over their choices. This model offers the advantages of flexibility in deployment and data security.

In the end, the Longan Guangzhou Yunshan Team, Longan Shenyang Shengjing Law Intelligence Team, and Longan Guangzhou AI Research and Law Office won the first prize in the competition due to their outstanding products and excellent presentations. Lawyer Liu Xin, the fifth chairman of the Longan Development Fund Board, director of the Longan Guangzhou Management Committee, and chief partner, awarded them the prize.
