Carrying forward the legacy and uniting for progress, Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm successfully held the 10th Xinhuo Session – Partners’ In-Depth Exchange Meeting on August 14. The event convened Director Liu Xin of the firm’s management committee and many senior partners and partners to strengthen partner communication, consolidate core team strength, and promote internal resource sharing, business collaboration, and coordinated empowerment. Three guest speakers were invited to share their practice insights: Senior Partner Song Zhijiang, Partner and sixth Secretary-General of the Longan Development Fund Council Chen Wenxin, and Senior Partner Deng Wenqi. Senior Partner Ye Junxi hosted the event.

At the start, Ye Junxi extended a warm welcome to the partners present. He noted that the Xinhuo Session, as one of the firm’s key internal exchange platforms, is always aimed at uniting team strength, activating internal momentum, and promoting collaborative development. He looked forward to the sharing and exchanges from the three guests, each of whom works in a different business track and brings rich practical experience and a broad platform operations perspective.

Partner Introductions

Song Zhijiang briefly introduced himself and shared his collaborative achievements since joining Longan Guangzhou more than two months ago, as well as a team management method he developed: based on the “Team Case Handling Procedures,” he standardizes documents and case processing across the entire process, creating a professional external image, simplifying newcomer training, and building a unique team management advantage. He also reviewed his more than ten years of steady professional growth and explained the growth path for young lawyers through several difficult and typical cases, advocating that young lawyers steadily build client resources and consolidate their professional foundation.

In terms of professional business layout, Song Zhijiang identified three differentiated advantageous business areas. With his in-depth understanding of the underlying transaction logic of the engineering industry, he has developed a core competitiveness that distinguishes him from ordinary commercial lawyers. Regarding industry development and long-term business advancement, he pointed out that the industry has entered a new stage where legal services compete on refined, professional capabilities, and engineering lawyers should follow a specialized and standardized development path, relying on standardized case processing procedures to improve quality and efficiency. At the end of his sharing, he expressed an open and collaborative attitude, inviting colleagues across the firm to connect on construction-related businesses and achieve cross-business empowerment and coordinated progress through the firm’s platform.

Chen Wenxin shared an overview of Longan offices and the Development Fund Council based on her experience. She comprehensively introduced Longan’s development scale, national layout, and diversified business system, and described the organizational structure and operating mechanism of the firm’s Development Fund Council, explaining its core functions in coordinating brand building, professional building, digital intelligence building, scale development, and international layout. She also introduced the development history and team configuration of Longan’s Hong Kong office, helping everyone further understand Longan’s full-service system.

Theme Sharing

Deng Wenqi has long focused on criminal and duty crime areas, with solid prosecution practice and extensive case handling experience. At the meeting, she first briefly introduced her team’s business, then, with a focus on professional practice safety, shared practical insights on risk prevention and control in duty crime cases. From the perspective of investigation practice, combined with typical cases in recent judicial practice, she deeply analyzed the practice risks, compliance blind spots, and risk triggers that lawyers may encounter in investigating and handling duty crime cases.

Regarding key links such as evidence collection standards, communication boundaries, and case handling procedures during the investigation stage, Deng Wenqi laid out systematic risk avoidance points and compliant case handling guidelines, providing practical guidance for the colleagues present to standardize case handling, guard professional bottom lines, and enhance risk prevention capabilities.

The successful holding of this 10th Xinhuo Session further narrowed the distance among partners and effectively opened up communication channels for internal resource sharing, cross-regional cooperation, and joint risk management. It not only consolidated the foundation for team collaboration but also injected new momentum into the firm’s standardized and high-quality development. In the future, Longan Guangzhou will continue to leverage the Xinhuo Session as a communication platform, regularly carry out professional and diversified internal exchange activities, continuously gather team strength, accumulate professional expertise, integrate internal and external resources, uphold professional commitment and practice bottom lines, continuously empower lawyer growth and business upgrading, and steadily advance and elevate the firm in the legal service track.
