On March 5, as the International Women’s Day approaches, the Longan Bay Area Legal, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, in collaboration with Guangdong Zheng China Sui Tax Agent Office, organized the “Women Entrepreneurs in Business World, Legal Protection for Talent” special salon event for female entrepreneurs. This salon focused on the integration of law, finance, and taxation, and provided insights and sharing on recent trends and issues, aiming to empower female entrepreneurs with professional knowledge and strengthen their awareness and capabilities in combining law, business, and finance. More than twenty female entrepreneurs from various industries participated in the event.

Lawyer Chen Banliang, senior partner at Longan Guangzhou and director of the Longan Bay Area Legal, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, delivered an opening speech. He welcomed and thanked the strong support from Guangdong Zheng China Sui Tax Agent Office and the enthusiastic participation of the female entrepreneur representatives. Lawyer Chen pointed out that women represent half of the world’s economy. Female entrepreneurs bear the burden of both economic and family responsibilities, and starting and maintaining a business is extremely challenging. This event included both thematic presentations and salon discussions, aiming to provide comprehensive legal and tax knowledge to female entrepreneurs. From a legal, financial, and tax perspective, it aimed to empower high-net-worth female entrepreneurs with professional knowledge, thereby enhancing their awareness and capabilities in risk prevention related to the integration of law, tax, and finance.

To some extent, women’s entrepreneurship has a special “vulnerability” aspect. Ms. He Ying believed that this event was in line with the theme of International Women’s Day, and it would help female entrepreneurs improve their risk awareness and management skills in a complex business environment. From her perspective as a senior tax expert, she explained the recent “DS Family Trust” incident, emphasizing that wealth management is an essential skill for female entrepreneurs. She also shared her latest insights on wealth management and inheritance.

Lawyer Hao Hao, senior partner at Longan Guangzhou and deputy director of the Longan Bay Area Legal, Finance, and Taxation Integrated Research Center, presented a talk titled “Governance and Prevention of Profit-Oriented Enforcement”. Lawyer Hao pointed out that profit-oriented enforcement is not new. The recent public discussion is due to deeper environmental changes. Such practices severely harm the business environment and undermine judicial credibility and authority. By analyzing cases and his team’s cases, Lawyer Hao highlighted the key aspects of profit-oriented enforcement in terms of substance, procedure, and motivation. He proposed a core strategy of “compliance as the foundation, evidence for protection, and professionalism for solutions”. Lawyer Hao emphasized that compliance is fundamental and long-term for businesses. If it is treated as just a trend, it will harm both businesses and entrepreneurs.
