In accordance with the relevant provisions of the “Constitution of the Communist Party of China” and the “Regulations on the Election Work of Grassroots Committees of the Communist Party of China”, with the approval of the superior Party organizations, the Party Branch of Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing held a general meeting of Party members on September 25, 2025. It was officially upgraded to a General Branch Committee. In October 2025, the election processes for the first, second, and third Party Branches were completed, and all members of the new General Branch Committee and each Party Branch were elected.
This upgrade of the Party organization and the election process represent an important practice by Longan Guangzhou in implementing the Party-building philosophy of “Lawyers dedicated to the Party, strengthening foundations and shaping the soul”. It marks a new stage in the Party-building work of the law firm, moving from “basic construction” to “improving quality and efficiency”. This establishes a solid organizational foundation for creating a new pattern where “Party building drives firm development, and firm development promotes development”.

The upgrade from Party Branches to the General Branch Committee is not only an expansion of the organizational scale, but also an deepening of political responsibilities. In the future, the General Branch Committee of Longan Guangzhou will guide itself with Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and thoroughly implement the core requirement of “being a good lawyer satisfactory to the Party and the people”. Under the leadership of the new committee, all Party lawyers will take this upgrade of the Party organization as a new starting point, strengthen their political stance, and improve their professional capabilities. The original aspiration of “prosperity together, peace for all” will be realized in legal services, and together we will write a new chapter in the coordinated development of Party building and firm development in Longan Guangzhou.
