Recently, the third session of the thematic training and promotion event on the “Guidelines for Establishing and Improving Modern Enterprise Systems with Chinese Characteristics (Trial) for Members of the Federation of Industry and Commerce Executive Committees” was successfully held. Guided by the Guangzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce and jointly hosted by units including the Baiyun District Federation of Industry and Commerce, the event was organized by the Guangzhou粤港澳大湾区 Enterprise Integrity and Compliance Management Federation. Mr. Ye Peng, senior partner of Beijing Long’an (Guangzhou) Law Firm and compliance expert of the Bay Area Compliance Federation, was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a practical and干货满满的 special lecture to representatives from over 40 private enterprises.

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Ye Peng, drawing on his years of experience in corporate compliance, intellectual property, and fiscal and tax legal services, directly addressed common pain points faced by private enterprises today. He pointed out that many companies currently suffer from fragmented R&D, finance, and IP departments, as well as a lack of long-term innovation mechanisms, which hinders sustainable and stable development.

In the core topic session, Mr. Ye gave a lecture titled “Building Long-term Innovation Mechanisms · Coordinating IP Operations and R&D Tax Benefits Practices”, sharing insights around four key dimensions: detailed explanations of the implementation rules for scientific and technological tax incentives, tax planning paths corresponding to various IP operation models, in-depth analysis of risk points that four types of enterprises are prone to encounter (with real cases illustrating consequences of violations), and actionable pre-risk prevention measures such as establishing independent R&D project ledgers and maintaining complete process documentation. The lecture was presented in an accessible manner with clear priorities, effectively helping enterprises clarify relevant issues and earning unanimous praise from participants.

The event also featured a sharing session from a benchmark enterprise. Mr. Chen Shengshu, assistant to the president of Adolph Group, shared his company’s practical experience in embedding compliance into the entire process of R&D innovation, brand marketing, and risk management. Enterprise representatives engaged in in-depth discussions with Mr. Ye on practical issues such as R&D project initiation, patent layout, and tax inspection document management, with Mr. Ye providing detailed answers to each question.

Mr. Ye Peng’s special lecture was highly relevant to the development needs of private enterprises, accurately addressing various practical challenges in technological compliance. It was both policy-professional, practically instructive, and risk-forward. Moving forward, Long’an Guangzhou will continue to leverage its legal service advantages to refine and deliver detailed, actionable one-stop legal service solutions, safeguarding the stable and healthy operation of enterprises with professional expertise.
