Recently, the Yangjiang Arbitration Commission confirmed the roster of arbitrators for its third term. The roster was deliberated collectively at the first plenary meeting of the Third Yangjiang Arbitration Commission and then publicly announced, in accordance with the qualification requirements for arbitrators set out in the Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China.

Eleven lawyers from Beijing Longan (Guangzhou) Law Firm — Wang Binbin, Ye Peng, Zhang Aiwu, Chen Weijie, Chen Qinglan, Jin Li, Zhao Zhiming, Zhao Qixian, Huang Qingfeng, Peng Limin and Liao Junlian (in the order listed in the proposed roster of arbitrators for the Third Yangjiang Arbitration Commission) — were selected on the strength of their professional capabilities and professional reputation.

The eleven appointed lawyers have worked in the field of arbitration for many years, combining a solid grounding in legal theory with extensive front-line practice experience. They have long taken part in handling a wide range of arbitration cases, are familiar with arbitral reasoning, and are adept at providing efficient solutions that start from the substance of a dispute.

The appointments reflect the Yangjiang Arbitration Commission’s trust in, and recognition of, the professional capabilities and legal expertise of Longan Guangzhou’s lawyers. Going forward, the appointed lawyers will draw on their respective practice areas, make skilled use of arbitration, conscientiously perform their duties as arbitrators, and continue to strengthen their capacity to fulfil those duties.
