On May 8th, Beijing Long An (Guangzhou) Law Firm and El-Rufai Attorneys at Law (ERA) from Nigeria officially reached a strategic cooperation through an online ceremony. El-Rufai Attorneys at Law is a well-known law firm based in Abuja, Nigeria, committed to providing clients with astute and innovative legal services. Comprising a team of experienced legal professionals, the firm boasts profound legal expertise across various fields, including commercial law, financial law, information technology, and fintech. This cooperation aims to build an efficient legal service platform for Chinese and Nigerian businesses, facilitating Chinese enterprises’ expansion into the African market and providing legal support for Nigerian companies investing in China.
下午四点半会议正式开始，隆安广州管委会副主任、高级合伙人葛向荣律师，隆安广州高级合伙人张静律师，El-Rufai Attorneys at Law（ERA）非执行董事Lawyer Sadiya、Lawyer Adam Abubakar、Lawyer Emmanuel Arikpo、Lawyer Abdulkadir Ahmed共同出席了本次签约仪式。此次会议由隆安广州事务所律师助理李伊玲主持。
The meeting commenced at 4:30 PM, with the attendance of Long An Guangzhou’s Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Senior Partner Lawyer Kelvin, Senior Partner Lawyer Jim, ERA’s Non-Executive Director Lawyer Sadiya, Lawyer Adam Abubakar, Lawyer Emmanuel Arikpo, and Lawyer Abdulkadir Ahmed. During the meeting, representatives from both sides took turns to speak, introducing their respective firms’ basic profiles, the background of cooperation, and future prospects. Lawyer Sadiya highlighted that ERA is a reputable law firm in Nigeria, with a strong team of legal professionals who have extensive experience and a solid foundation in various legal fields. Additionally, Lawyer Sadiya noted that with the increasing frequency of cooperation and trade between China and Nigeria, and the continuous progress of the China-Nigeria strategic partnership, the market prospects are broad. She believes that the strategic cooperation between Long An Guangzhou and ERA will rapidly advance both parties’ expansion in the legal service market.

随后，双方代表正式签署《合作协议》，双方均表示，此次隆安广州与ERA律所的合作，将为中尼两国的法律服务交流搭建新的桥梁。
The meeting reached its climax as representatives from both sides formally signed the “Cooperation Agreement,” expressing that this cooperation between Long An Guangzhou and ERA will build a new bridge for legal service exchanges between China and Nigeria.

After the signing, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Senior Partner Lawyer Kelvin of Long An Guangzhou delivered a summary speech for the signing ceremony. Lawyer Kelvin noted that through this cooperation with El-Rufai Attorneys at Law, both parties will share professional resources and experience, enhance their professional standards in cross-border legal services, and provide clients with higher-quality legal solutions. Subsequently, both sides had an in-depth discussion on the specific details of the cooperation, its prospects, and necessity.
